Join us for an exclusive walking tour of the historic United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Designed specifically for facilities managers, architects, engineers, and federal stakeholders, this 45-to-60-minute guided tour offers a rare look into the complex physical infrastructure and operational history required to run the "People's Department."
Starting on the historic patio of the Jamie L. Whitten Building, you will explore the exterior architectural features of this nearly 100-year-old landmark before heading behind the scenes. Attendees will gain firsthand insights into day-to-day operations, examine a classic 1930s interior, and discuss the unique engineering and facility challenges tied to managing a high-profile, public-facing federal asset.
