Join Us for the Annual Potomac Watershed Clean-Up! 🌱
Come out on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and make a difference at Potomac Riverkeeper Network’s annual community service event along the beautiful Potomac River!
We’re welcoming chapter members and volunteers of all ages to help remove plastics, paper, and other debris from the shoreline at Oxon Cove and Oxon Run.
Your efforts will directly support a cleaner, healthier watershed.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Participate in a meaningful local community service event
- Network with fellow CCIFMA members
- Meet other members of the community and share information about CCIFMA
What to Wear & Bring:
- Clothes you don’t mind getting wet or muddy
- Gloves (if you have a favorite pair for trash picking)
- Knee-high rubber boots or waders (recommended for shoreline areas)
- Reusable water bottle, snacks, and water
What’s Provided:
- Gloves, trash grabbers, and bags from Potomac Riverkeeper Network and the National Park Service
- Coffee and donuts to kick off the morning ☕🍩
