Join the Capital Chapter on March 16th when credentialed members are invited to come together online to celebrate your accomplishments. This event is open to members who have earned one or more of the following credentials: CFM, FMP, SFP and will include a special presentation focused on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) with Dr. Karen Francis, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the American Institutes for Research.

As a Facilities Management Leader, if you were to be asked about your role with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) – what would you say? During this session, we will talk about the role of facility management leadership and professionals in advancing DEI.  What does that mean? – we will explore the key concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion, talk about the importance of DEI for facilities management as well as discuss strategies and best practices that can be put to use the minute you return to work.  And yes, after the discussion, you are encouraged to share with colleagues what you have learned to build momentum and move towards charting a course for your organization as a whole.
